Bio: Tim & Debbie Shultz |
| Tim and Debbie Shultz
are the founders of Lifetime Pregnancy Help Center, a ministry that
God has called them to begin in Springfield to minister to and build
relationships with men and women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy
or suffering from the pain of a past abortion. This ministry is very near to their
hearts, as they experienced an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 20
and chose to have an abortion. Along with the ministry of Lifetime
PHC, Tim and Debbie are willing to share their personal story of how
abortion held them captive for 15 years in secret guilt and shame
and almost destroyed their marriage, and how our loving and forgiving
God healed and restored them. Tim and Debbie are ordained ministers
through Five Fold International, and Debbie is also a representative
for the national organization, Silent No More. Debbie is a 2-time
Hall of Fame inductee at Galesburg High School and the University
of Evansville (IN); Academic All-American and Conference Player of
the Year for basketball at UE, and graduate of UE with honors. She
has spoken at various churches and groups, including the Springfield
Right to Life Rally at the Capitol Building in January, 2006, and St. Thomas, the
Apostle Church in Crystal Lake, IL, in October, 2007. |

Statistics from the IL Dept. of Public Health reveal that there
were 43,409 reported abortions performed in Illinois in 2005; 6,909
of those were teenage Illinois residents and 293 were Sangamon County
residents. The devastating effects of abortion are real and painful.
There are a lot of hurting people in our community and our state.
Tim and Debbie’s passion is to share their story in order to help
these men and women find freedom from their past and receive unconditional
love and forgiveness from our Heavenly Father, as they have received.
